Marc W. Naylor, Principal, CPE

Marc Naylor has more than 30 years experience in General Contracting, Design/Build, Project Management, Pre-Construction and Construction Management Services.  Marc studied Civil Engineering at Christian Brothers University and State Technical Institute and is a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE).  Marc is one of only three active Certified Professional Estimators in the Mid-South area.  He is a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators, where he is an active member of the Memphis Chapter.  He has served as past president of the Chapter and is currently serving on the Board of Directors.  Marc is also listed in the International "Who's Who of Professionals". 

Marc Naylor has extensive project and construction management experience on projects ranging to $135,000,000 in complexity.  Marc is recognized as having been instrumental in pioneering various design/build and construction management techniques.  As a Construction Manager and Cost Consultant, Marc provides budget and estimating services to Owners, Architects, and Contractors.  His extensive experience includes retail, office, hospitality, healthcare, municipal, religious facilities, airport and transportation, urban renovations, and entertainment and gaming facilities.  He has extensive experience in multi-family, providing site analysis, feasibility studies, budget and pro-forma projections prior to construction, then buy-out and management of construction.  His experience includes all facets of the project process - accounting, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, management, supervision and turnover of the completed work.

Marc is proficient with MC²'s computer based estimating program, Primavera Project Scheduling, Primavera Expedition Software and has designed numerous spreadsheet applications to expedite the accounting and estimating process.

Michael Box, VP

Mike has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. As a contractor sales representative, he developed and managed over 200 accounts and was the leading salesman for 22 consecutive years. In 1986, Mike launched and managed the multi-family division at Frierson Building Supply. From 1983 to 2003, he served as Sales Manager.  In 2003, he became the Regional Sales Manager for Bailey Lumber and Supply with responsibility for marketing, sales, and profit margin.

Mike's relationship with Naylor Construction Services Group spans 15 years as both a material supplier and employee; responsibilities include business development, purchasing, contract negotiations, budget and construction oversight.  Mike attended Mississippi State University with a major in Marketing.

Douglas Warren, VP Estimating

Doug has over 35 years experience in estimating, scheduling, consulting and pre-construction services.  Doug is a graduate of the University of Memphis and has a degree in Construction Technology as well as training in construction management and value engineering at the University of Alabama and Georgia Tech.  Doug was previously a Principal with a prominent architectural and construction management firm and Vice President for a national cost consulting firm in Memphis. 

Doug holds the distinction as a Certified Professional Estimator and is one of three in the Mid-South area.  Doug has provided pre-construction services for the $625 million dollar Mall of America, located in Bloomington, Minnesota and the $106 million dollar facility for the Internal Revenue Service Center located in Memphis, Tennessee.  He has extensive experience in multifamily, hospitality, commercial, and gaming and entertainment facilities.  

Pete W. Stein, Project Manager

Pete has a degree from Texas A&M University in Construction Science.  Pete has more than 13 years of professional experience in the construction industry as a project manager, estimator and superintendent for commercial, retail, student housing and multi-family projects throughout the United States.

Pete has extensive experience in project management techniques, field supervision and safety training.  He has received honors twice for exemplary service above and beyond expectations from Auto Zone, Inc. and Storage USA.  Pete is an accredited Leed AP.  

Aubrey King, Construction Project Manager

Aubrey attended Mississippi State University.  He has 18 years of construction experience in commercial multiple project responsibility.  Aubrey has managed 2 to 3 projects at a time and has extensive experience with cost plus-a-fee project delivery where value was provided to the customer as CM through collaborative efforts with the owner and designers, providing competitive procurement and cost analysis for each phase of the project.  A list of projects that Aubrey has been involved in is available upon request.

Shane Murphy, Project Engineer

Shane has extensive education and experience in the commercial construction industry.  He has worked as a Senior Project Superintendent where he was responsible for meeting with subcontractors, compiling project budgets, and ensuring that the project met the set deadline.  Shane is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

James R. Redfearn, Marketing Director

James has over 15 years of multifamily specific sales and marketing experience.  A native Texan, he is a graduate of The University of Mississippi.  Prior to joining Naylor, James was Senior Sales Executive for Network Multifamily Security, where he assisted clients throughout the U.S. with their various security related product and service needs.  In addition to being involved with all of Naylor Construction's business development and marketing efforts, he is responsible for developing and maintaining new and lasting client relationships for the company.  He will remain in contact with his clients and communicate with them regularly on project related matters.
